Unsubscribing from Our Communications
If you receive direct marketing from ACNUSA, we provide you with the opportunity to update your information or opt-out of having your information used for purposes not directly related to placement, processing, fulfillment, or delivery of a product you ordered or donation made. Generally, newsletters, auto-generated e-mails, and updates from us will include links to access, correct, or delete your personal data and manage any subscriptions directly. To opt-out of marketing communications, you may: (1) send us an e-mail at donorcare@churchinneed.org; or (2) follow the instructions contained within the email or newsletter. Your instructions to limit the use of your information for these purposes will be processed as soon as reasonably practicable.
6. What about links to third-party sites?
ACNUSA Sites may contain hyperlinks to websites owned and operated by other organizations, including private sector partners, other NGOs and charities, and ACNUSA affiliates. These third- party websites have their own privacy policies, which address their use of cookies and personal data. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party sites that may link to, or be accessible from, our sites. Your interactions with these sites are governed by the third parties’ applicable policies and statements, which we encourage you to read. ACNUSA cannot accept responsibility for the practices of such third-party websites. The ACNUSA Sites may also offer you the ability to interact with social plugins from social media sites, which may allow us and/or the social media site to receive data from or about you. In some cases, we may know that you clicked on a social plugin, such as a Twitter Follow button, or receive other information from the social media sites. Similarly, if you have previously provided personal data to a third-party operating a plug-in on the ACNUSA Sites, then such third-party may recognize you on the ACNUSA Sites. Your use of social network plugins is subject to each social media site’s privacy policy, which may be different from ours, so please read these policies carefully to understand their policies and your options. As with linked sites, we have no control over the information that is collected, stored, or used by social network plugins, and are not responsible for the practices of such sites.
