Women are second-class citizens in Pakistan, and Christian women are third-class citizens, vulnerable to abduction and rape. ACN has been helping to give a much-needed voice to the hundreds of Pakistani Christian women and girls who are forced to marry their captors and convert to Islam each year. Working with the Pakistani Church’s National Commission for Justice and Peace (NCJP), ACN has supported an advocacy, media engagement, and public awareness campaign – including conferences and consultations with lawmakers and community leaders.
