ABOUT ACN

AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED IS A PONTIFICAL CHARITY OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, SUPPORTING THE CATHOLIC FAITHFUL AND OTHER CHRISTIANS WHERE THEY ARE PERSECUTED, OPPRESSED OR IN PASTORAL NEED. Each year we fund more than 5,000 projects in over 140 countries around the world, helping to support the Church in its mission, and bringing hope and solidarity to millions of people. We support important projects which are undertaken by the local Church in the countries where we provide aid, all thanks to private donations, as the charity receives no public funding. From building churches to providing catechetical books to emergency aid, our projects, whether large or small, cover a whole range of initiatives to help nurture the Faith internationally and support persecuted and suffering Christians wherever they are in need.
